I started out as a body painter and more recently have been working as a more 'conventional' artist. I am inspired by the gritty old 'photo journalism' portraiture of the pre-digital era. My current projects involve stills and video and are as much about capturing personality as setting up an image. Some of the pictures below are from my current, 'Poetry Project; including video stills.

Although I will have a go at most things, my focus at present is in 'people and personality projects'. My skills are not yet up to it; but, even if they were, my work is unlikely to be suitable for TFP.- I am now starting to get some commissions through, but I would consider myself and my standard to be still amateur

I really enjoy the process of transformation and the attempt to engage the viewer in ascribing the context of the work
