After 2 years since our last shoot, I've missed Ray very much! We did a fab Easter themed shoot that Ray provided the outfits and setting for as per usual. I'm so excited to get the chance to work and catch up again. I can't wait to do it again! See you soon Ray, thank you for everything!

I've worked with Ray in both group and solo studio settings, both times going well. He's sociable, clear about what he intends to do, and there's minimal fuss. He's quick with getting the photos to you, with even the option of collecting there and then. I've already said I'll happily work with him again and that will certainly be the case. It's easy to see why he's comfortably established in the creative community. Would recommend.

I met Ray on Saturday and we had a blast! He is fun and friendly and I felt very comfortable instantly. He gives great direction and our pre comms were fab. He has a vast selection of outfits, props and accessories and never runs out of ideas.

Was kind to pick me up from train station and thrn drop me off.

Went to studio and carried out a varied shoot. Which was great. So that I could have varied photos for my portfolio.

Ray was extremely professional, and I thoroughly enjoyed my shoot with him. Clear and thorough communication before the shoot. He had a wide range of costumes and accessories to choose from, so perfect if you are just starting out or want to explore new genres. He was detailed with his lighting choices meaning we got some beautifully lit shots and was knowledgeable regarding appropriate poses we could try that would be most effective to our Gothic/Vampiric Theme. He made both me and my chaperone feel very relaxed and I look forward to arranging future projects with him. Would highly recommend.

Had another great shoot with Ray on this day. I stepped in last minute since another model dropped out but this meant a creative and spontaneous shoot! Ray is a lovely person and so is his partner who joined us on the shoot ( Jenny) . He also picked me up/dropped me off which made travel easy. Highly recommend!

Was great to meet Ray. Such a nice guy. Picked me up from the train station and then dropped me off. The shoot was my first for years. Was so interesting to go to the Studio and see so much that coudl be used for the shoot. Really cool stuff. We did a Medieval shoot which was amazing to just wear and try on some of the clothing items and acessories. Then later on saw a Steampunk hat with glasses and that made the second part of the shoot for us. Was very much go with the flow which was amazing. Great vibes. Felt safe. Was a very creative shoot and time spent. Thank you again.

I have done a few shoots with Ray now and have enjoyed every single one! He listened to my ideas for aa shoot and ran with it. Together we have created some awesome shots and I highly recommend Ray to anyone that wants a fun, enjoyable experience with incredible end results. I can't wait to plan some more creative shoots with him in the future. Highly recommend!

My second shoot with Ray. We worked on four different sets, and the time flew by. Ray is very easy going, respectful and professional. He allowed me to take as many breaks as I wanted and offered me refreshments throughout the day. He works from a barn on a friend's farm and has a vast array of props and costumes. I enjoyed the shoot very much and I am looking forward to shooting with him again in the near future. I have no hesitation in recommending him to any model.

This was my 4th shoot with oyster and once again I have nothing but praise for this talented tog. Ray and his lovely wife made the long journey to help out in what was basically a practice shoot with a parachute. He was full of great ideas and helpful tips. We did manage to get some pics done and Ray had some great and imaginative ideas for what he thought would work. He has the utmost respect for the model at all times and I cannot recommend him enough. I have worked with Oyster on a few occasions now, usually I organise a small group shoot and 'rope him in', but he is always happy to make the long trip up north from Portsmouth to Wolverhampton to grab a few hours shoot time. That is in my opinion dedication and commitment.
Oyster is one of the most easy going and pleasant people I have met and is always on hand to offer help and advice which I greatly appreciate.
He is polite and courteous with the models we have worked with together and shows true professionalism in his photography and knowledge.
He produces some truly stunning images and having visited him down in his hometown too, I know he carries a vast array of costumes and props that can cater for any models aspirations.
I have alot of respect for this gentleman.
He knows how to capture an incredible image and get the best out of any model/subject.
I am positive our paths will cross again as we have ideas a plenty to collaborate on.
I cannot recommend Oyster highly enough.
He is someone I look up to and will certainly give any aspiring or professional model some superb and unique images.

Fantastic shoot with Ray and also Ray's wife Jenny and my partner . Jenny did some photography also as well as being one of the elves etc. Great laugh lot of input by myself and everyone involved . Seems we are becoming somewhat veterans at working together now, but its always a pleasure to work with this gentleman.
Within a week we have both travelled extensively for a couple of shoots, firstly Julie & myself drove down to Waterlooville to shoot with Ray at his place and what an Aladdin's cave he has down there. If he aint got it, you dont need it!
He has a vast and extensive collection of uniforms, costumes, hats, weapons, treasures and trinkets that will fit anybody's ideas and imaginations. Add to this list lots of outdoor space, an orchard, a vintage car and a great studio set up with smoke machine and a coffin, Ray has it all - including a wry sense of humour and bags of personality.
I love collaborating with Ray, our most recent shoot saw Ray, his wife and model Miniminxx travel 6 hours up to Flintshire to shoot with an ex RAF fighter jet.
Ray is patient, enthusiastic, has lots of ideas and most importantly gets great images.
His portfolio speaks for itself and shows his versatility.
I know we will be clicking away together again soon.

This was my 2nd shoot with this great photographer. Made the journey to Rays neck of the woods and it was definitely worth the trip. Ray has an immense amount of costumes and props and some brilliant ideas on how to use them. We bounced ideas back and forth and the 5 hours just flew. Totally relaxed, chilled, fun shoot, just as they should be. Must also thank Rays lovely wife for being chief tea maker and also for providing us with an unexpected lunch. Had my 1st shoot with Ray yesterday, this was my 1st time doing a group photographer shoot and also my 1st time posing with another model, must admit I was pretty nervous. Ray was an absolute star and immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. He is a very competent photographer and has an amazing eye for what will work. He gave excellent direction in a clear and unobtrusive manner. Ray knows exactly what will work and came up with a few suggestions that were new and exciting (can't wait to see the results). He is extremely easy to get along with and has a great sense of humour which all makes for a relaxed shoot. Any model looking for a great, reliable photographer then Ray is your man. Will definitely be making the journey to Rays neck of the woods as soon as we can make the arrangements. Thanks Ray for making it such a great day.

This was my second time working with Ray on a small group shoot I had organised and I can only reiterate so much so what I said in my first reference but I just wanted to add that I find this gentleman so unassuming and such a great person to work with. For any models out there (or even other togs) I can't recommend him enough.
He has great imagination which shines through in his images and he is just a thoroughly nice chap.
He photographed my wife for the first time, and another model, and was polite and respectful throughout, never taking over or 'getting in the way' of others, showing respect all the way.
My wife was impressed with how he composed himself, she was a little nervy before the shoot as it was her first time shooting for a group and with another model but Ray made her feel relaxed and at ease.
We are now going to visit Ray down his neck of the woods in the coming weeks to try out some new ideas.

My second shoot post covid, this time with Ray, Always a pleasure to work with, always on time with loads of props and ideas, This time we split the shoot between inside and outside locations dodging the rain. Time flew by like it always does with Ray.
I look forwards to our next encounter some time soon i hope.

Had the pleasure of working with Oyster on a group shoot I had arranged involving some military vehicles which I believe Oyster has a keen interest in. With the whole event in jeopardy after the model cancelled with 4 hours to go I was concerned knowing that Oyster had already committed to the long drive from Portsmouth to the Midlands.
However a replacement model was found and the shot went ahead.
Oyster is a genuine, down to earth and courteous guy who got himself into some precarious positions to get the shots he wanted.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting him and working with him, I look forward to seeing the results and have no doubt his work will be of a very high standard.
As a fellow 'tog', I can say that I would highly recommend working with him.

Had a amazing shoot with oyster. We did a military inspired shoot, I had outfits for the shoot but oyster has a whole prop selection from various themes.

Oyster was very welcoming, relaxed and was happy for me to free pose and also provided direction where needed.

Had so much fun with shoot brining back memories, we even spoke about possible ideas for another shoot in the future.

Second shoot with Ray in two years and exceeded expectations again. Our first shoot was undoubtedly fun, but today was a whole other level. Had a giggle, played with smoke machines and smoke bombs, both things I've never done on the lense-side of the camera before. I can't wait to do another shoot with him again soon!

Shot with Ray earlier this week, on a lovely big area of farmland with lots of scope. He is friendly, professional, and able to give direction as well as receiving ideas. Super happy with the images we created.

I started modelling in 2019 and Ray helped me a lot in the shoots we did together that year.

My shoot was fun and enjoyable, experimenting with props, poses and gaining more creative ideas.

I had another brilliant and fun modelling shoot with Ray today (28th July). Ray is funny, puts you at ease at all times and has a great eye to detail in our shoots. Ray is very creative and listens to my ideas too (even at 1 am lol ). Having my next shoot with Ray tomorrow, cant wait. Emma

Had my first shoot with Ray yesterday morning, he was welcoming and told me exactly what he expected from the shoot and showed me all of the costumes and props available. He allowed me time to have a good rummage and select my own outfits of gothic and steampunk style and he suggested varying props. He was very good at giving direction and had some fun ideas. Would definitely recommend working with Ray.

Had a brilliant shoot Saturday! I actually wasnt feeling a 100% as I have a cold, but oyster was very professional and helpful, it was a nice fun, relaxed shoot producing some great images! Had no issues with me bringing my chaperone which is a must for me. Had a great shoot, really would recommend shooting with him! I'm planning on shooting again in the future as he has some fantastic props and costumes I didnt get the pleasure to incorporate this time round!

Ray was a pleasure to work with communication was easy and direction was clear. This was our first shoot together and I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable at all times. We managed to produce a lot of images and yet at no time did I feel rushed or pressured. Ray has some fabulous props...vintage vehicles included. I have seen the proofs and I would be very happy to work with Ray again and recommend him to everyone here.

I had a photo shoot today with ray, as you will see the theme was 1980s military, Ray was amazing in leading, giving me tips and also a little bit of history about the military as we both have the same interest, he shot a lot of amazing photos, it was an amazing experience, would definitely love to work with him again, recommend to others too

Had my first shoot with oyster this evening and it went extremely well. I would strongly recommend him as a photographer. He was really polite and clear towards how he wanted the shoots. He was willing to give demonstrations on posses I was confused on . Such a lovely out come by the end of it and would definitely be interested in working with oyster again.

1st shoot with Raymond today. Arranged with Raymond after likeing each others images over time. I used 3 outfits that would go well for shoot . Steampunk 1920/30 and a steampunk gothic witch who had fun on a quad bike. And use of a vintage car. And a ride round the contryside . Was alot of fun and we both worked well together. Highly recomend Raymond very friedly polite and good direction . Look forward to next shoot. Thankyou for a fab shoot .

Had a great shoot with Ray on a beautiful farm! We had some lovely vintage cars to shoot with and a range of clothing to choose from (Which I became very attached to the red cloak)! Was such a lovely shoot and I have the opportunity to drive one of the vintage cars which was a great experience. I really enjoyed this shoot and resulted in some of my favourite photos on my portfolio!

Third shoot with Ray, turned out to be a little bit of a marathon, due to traffic issues, but all in all a good day, plenty of laughs and good company there even was some good photography done to.

Ray is a big man and a keen amateur. He's well organised and easy to get on with. I felt comfortable with him modelling artistic nude poses and we experimented capturing the figure nude under sheer fabric. He provided props and a jacket for one set of images and results were good. We had to postpone an outdoor shoot at the same location but perhaps we will meet up another day in the Spring when we get some decent weather and good light. Thanks Ray for a pleasant couple of hours in the countryside.

Wow what can I say absolutely delighted to work with ray at my home tonight. So polite great with helping with direction. Even had ideas of his own and felt very comfortable shooting around.
