Tszpakow

My name is Tomasz Szpakowski, I come from Pulawy in eastern Poland, but have lived and worked in the UK since 2013. I'm a graduate of Technology and Computer Science Education, currently employed in the care industry, but my real passion is my camera!
As a student of digital photography at Aylesbury College I am working towards gaining a qualification that will ultimately lead to becoming a professional photographer.
I focus on outdoor informal portraiture of families, individuals and animals, with the aim of reflecting personality, often through the capture of a loving moment. I take inspiration from Dani Diamond, Meg Bitton and Kaylee Greer, whose work seems to have remarkable life and energy.
I also enjoy macro photography of the natural world, particularly insects, and exploring landscapes, where the lines of earth and sky are often so dramatic.
My images of flora and fauna are influenced by the popular Polish photographer Magdalena Wasiczek, who likes to manipulate colour and form in highly creative ways to reveal an almost magical world, which so often goes unnoticed.
For most of my work I use a Sony A77II with lenses Tamron 24-70mm F2.8, Tamron 70-200mm F2.8, Sony 50mm F1.8 and Samyang 85mm F1.4.
