A little bit about me...

Hey.

I am Through the looking glass images,

I have studied photography course full time for 2 years, but I have about 7 years of photography experience overall. I have film, polaroid and SLR to shoot with. I mainly shoot nature, animals and landscapes - but would like to venture out and shoot with some models...

I always ask friends to pose for me, and I have plans in the near future to shoot with them so I can upload some more photographs of actual people.

I can travel a reasonable distance, and I have created this profile so that I can learn and improve my photography skills. I do have a full version of Photoshop which I am illiterate in, due to studying photography. Having said this, unless you really want me to edit the hell out of your photo (which honestly I don't enjoy doing at all), I am more than happy to remove blemishes and spots, but I am really looking to capture the realness in people.


What I am here for?

I want to capture many things, but my first project and sets of photos will be based around 2 subjects:

Being photographed whilst doing something you enjoy (this could be anything, sport, art, writing, dressing up, I am sure you can think of more.
Being photographed in many of the extravagant ballgowns, outfits, fashion suits and costume jewellery - with creative lighting and shadows.

Places I can shoot from...

A very close friend of mine has offered to let me hold shoots at his place, he has a full back drop (black and grey) and studio lights and we have a lot of creative lights between us to create some awesome images.
Their house is in Nottinghamshire and easily accessible by a taxi/public transport.

I also have a long list of locations I can use if location is more your thing, I can't say I have a preference but I am happy to shoot both.


What I am offering...

I have studied the technicalities of manual photography, graphic design and become illiterate in Photoshop over the course of 2 years during my studies about photography at college. I learnt a lot from my time here, I can edit photos to a good standard and I am always learning new things everyday.I am not saying I am the best photographer in the world, but I know what I am doing and how to get a nice image - even in low lights. I have experience shooting live bands, I did this as a hobby for about 3 years and really enjoyed it, I also have experience of working at 2 different weddings - as a photographers assistant. Both times I was given the chance to take photographs of wedding guests myself, edit, process and print the images after.


Final few words...

I am taking on tfp work at the current moment, but I will update this if anything changes.
