I have nothing but positive things to say about Roy! He very kindly offered me hosting while I was heading up to Scotland for a tour and helped me to organise a studio day in his studio in Banchory.

Roy and his partner Moira were wonderful hosts. They provided a comfortable room for me to sleep in and even meals. It was so lovely to stay in such a comfortable, friendly environment in the beautiful area of Stonehaven.

The studio itself is well-equipped with the facilities for a range of different lighting set-ups, and Roy always on hand to offer assistance to any photographer using the studio. Roy himself is adept at lighting and was able to offer great advice to the photographers I worked with, as well as instructing them how to achieve different looks for different themes. When modelling for him, I was also very impressed by his ability to adapt to different lighting setups and issues, and with how responsive he was to my feedback.

Working with Roy was such a good experience and I'm so pleased to have met and worked with him. Definitely recommended!

Just completed another shoot at the fabulous Studio Dee in Banchory. and what a wonderful shoot it was too.. Roy was patient, helpful and resourceful even when my technology let me down. Couple this with the vast array of studio props available, I can always be assured of a good productive shoot at Studio Dee.

I had my second shoot woth Roy split between Satirday evening and Sunday afternoon. What can I say... Wonderful man to work with. Full of ideas, banter, professionalism and has a sharp tongue on him!! Haha.
Roy collected me Saturday evening from my train, we headed straight to his studio in Banchory - Studio Dee - where we started getting prepared for our planned duo shoot with another female model! We were due to start at 7pm but with the other model running late (arrived at 8pm) we spent some time looking over images for inspiration and taking a few solo shots to set the mood.
The duo shot was not bad but could have been much better with full organisation on the modelling end - nothing to do with Roy. It was still alot of fun with at least one cracker of an image!
I stayed overnight with Roy and his partner in their nice cosy home to make a day of solo shooting with him possible too. Both were very accommodating and his partner even made us chilli getting back from the studio after 11pm since we were too late to grab food anywhere else - what a star!
I even slept in at their home and made us start the day late I was so comfortable haha... Sorry for that Roy!

The second day of shooting was wonderful. I got to throw a bunch of ideas at Roy and use a bunch of his to create some bloody fantactic adult images if I do say so myself!
I cannot wait to shoot together again. Roy makes me feel very confident in my ability as a newbie model and it shows in the images I would say. He is brilliant with giving direction and also helped me capture certain poses I really wanted to do.

Thanks for a wonderful weekend - even if a few bits didn't go exactly as planned! Very highly reenter the use of Roy as a photographer and the use of his studio. Great for bondage and adult style shoots!

Had a shoot with Roy at dee studio professional great studio great props

I had an absolutely amazing shoot working with Roy at Studio Dee in Banchory. I really could not have asked for any more from him!
I was running late and he still managed to keep me for a full 8 hours at the studio rather than cutting time short. There was one more phororapher there for the studio day who I spent some time with in the beginning shooting which helped get me at ease and ready for the rest of the day with Roy.

We didn't really plan out exactly what we would shoot but Roy was full of creative ideas and was brilliant with giving direction to acheieve some cracking images. I'de say we definitely went out there a little and experimented - with some bondage style sets and a few wonderful adult accessories. I had never got to use these things for shooting with before and was over the moon when Roy let me have a play around with props!

This is a very late reference but not because I didn't enjoy my day - just been terrible with admin lately - I would HIGHLY recommend the use of the studio and Roy as a photographer. He made me feel very comfortable and let me explore avenues I really want to get more into. I appreciate all of the advice and creativity we had flowing together lots.

Hopefully - now my heads out of my butt with admin - we can work together again in the future.

What a brilliant photographer and person Roy is.
I had the pleasure of shooting with him yesterday when he passed through on his travels down south. And I certainly hope to catch up on his way back up as believe me people shooting with Roy is definitely an opportunity you don't want to miss .

He creates some stunning images and really likes to get creative . I find his work style totally suits me own and he is really great to work with.

Highly recommended by me.

Oh here we go I’m finally getting around to writing my reference for this guy Roy, of whom I was working with on my duo trip arranged and ran by Artemis Fauna on her Luxury All Inclusive Photographic Fuerteventura trip abroad assisted by IainT.

Now the truth shall come out! I had been warned of Roy’s grumpy and facetious nature, and the truth is… He’s an absolute pussy cat :)

I love how blunt and honest Roy can be, there is no sitting on the fence with him, and I thought that was brilliant! Roy’s humour had me sniggering or in stitches for the majority of the trip, and he very kindly produced a very useful gift for Artemis and I T-shirts with ‘Model Off Duty’ written across them, I took mine to heart naturally! When it came to being out on location shooting Roy worked very quickly and efficiently throughout the day, and the shots had me in utter awe, everything from angles to lighting was perfect. It was like being on a trip with Morrissey, he didn’t look excited but you soon picked up on the tell-tale signs such as “Oi do you wanna pose here?” haha :)

Roy was very respectful at all times, whilst also keeping up the banter and even more impressively he kept up/put up with mine. And I must say he worked like a proper photographer and by that I mean he also worked hard to get that perfect shot, he crawled in the dirt and the dust, clambered up steep rocks, on to ledges, got in the water, went for a swim, I will not let it go unsaid that this man will make sacrifices on his own part to suffer for his art and do it with a smile!

He was an absolute gem to have on the trip, funny, mad, but he is a very caring soul whether it be for the models safety or comfort or just being a nice human in general. Already seeing some insanely awesome images, but I think its high time that I get my arse over to Scotland to see what this guy can really do.

Highly and very easily recommended by me, and I bloody can’t wait to be shooting with him again, thanks so much Roy for a great adventure.

Just had a 3 hr shoot at Studio Dee, Banchory and would like to add my compliments for what was a very productive shoot. Of course a large part of that success was down to the assistance that Roy provided. Despite several different sets during the shoot. Roy was there to assist, support and advise.
