Stand Out Studio

These experiences along with a young, yet vibrant portfolio enabled Carl to secure his first professional role as the staff photographer at the Stroud News & Journal in September 2010. He spent three years with the SNJ covering an array of different news stories, events and sporting fixtures. In August 2013 Carl made the move to TWM, a well established photographic agency where he could hone his skills covering events, PR, news stories and sporting fixtures on a national scale. 

During his photographic career spanning close to a decade, Carl's images have appeared in publications such as - The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Racing Post, The Sun, The Radio Times and online with BBC, ITV News and BT Sport.
His images have also been regularly published in regional media including - Cotswold Life, Business & Professional Life, Western Daily Press, Cotswold Essence, Gloucester Citizen, Gloucestershire Echo, Stroud Life and the Stroud News & Journal. 

In the summer of 2017 Carl set up Stand Out Studio Ltd to use the whole gamut of his skills in a new way. With a studio as his base he now has the opportunity to provide a full service to both commercial and private clients. While still spending time out on the road photographing customers at their business premises or homes, Stand Out Studio offers photographic services that can only be created in the controlled environment of a professional photographic studio space.

Carl Hewlett of Stand Out Studio Ltd has achieved the standard required and has been enrolled as a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain since January 2011.
