Mark Chivers

Mark Chivers, born 1985 in Gloucestershire, England is currently living and working in Cardiff and Bristol.


A keen fashion and portrait photographer whose style can be adapted in order to suit each individual assignment. His personal work can vary from surreal images to classical portraiture. He has a keen interest in performance photography and has carried out several assignments in this field.

Mark started studying fine art and illustration at school however, did not take an interest in photography until later at college. In 2007 he achieved a National Diploma in photography then went on to Cardiff University and gained a BA Honours in the subject in 2010.

Since graduating Mark has worked as a freelance photographer working with a range of Welsh-based performers and is now currently working in a commercial portrait studio. He has a broad portfolio of his work to date.

Mark has been involved in a number of exhibitions throughout the country; his latest took place at Photographique in Bristol 2010 and was very well acclaimed.
