Fish Photographic Studio

Fish Photographic Studio is a small quirky building which was part of an old airfield base near Beccles, Suffolk. It is now used as an industrial park. The building is on two floors and each measures 9' x 18'. Whilst dowstairs is of a contemporary/industrial design, upstairs is reserved for bursts of colour and floral patterns to give a more vibrant feel. Each wall is a different colour to allow you to move around the studio utilising all of the space without the need for time consuming backdrop changes! As well as studio lighting* there is also good natural light with the use of an upstairs balcony and large double doors downstairs to allow access for motorbikes if required.

*Lighting: 200ws studio flash with pro ac trigger, 42cm beauty dish with honeycomb grid, 80x120cm rectangle 5cm grid softboxes, 150x200cm 5 in 1 reflectors, various other items. Lighting stands upstairs and boom arms downstairs.

I have over 25 years experience as a model and make up artist and am available to assist with make up and styling shoots. I have an extensive collection of dresses available to hire at a small cost. Cost of make up/styling is also reduced if booking the studio.

The studio holds a register of models, photographers, actors and other creatives. Please feel free to take a look at their profiles on this page. Fish Photographic Studio does not act as an agent and all bookings are to be made directly with the other parties. I also have access to a large number of classic cars that are available to hire. Throughout the year I will be holding a number of photographic workshops and events covering different styles of photography for all levels of photographer, whether you want to learn new skills or just update your portfolios. Helping me with some of these events will be experienced professional photographers who have a wealth of knowledge! A schedule of these workshops will be available soon.

The studio is available to hire at £15 per hour, £50 for half a day (4hours) or £80 for a full day (8 hours)
