I'm a mostly self educated photographer from the Netherlands. Since my teenage years I experimented with SLR cameras. Besides my self propelled discoveries in the world of photography, I decided to follow an education at the Dutch school of Photography (Foto vakschool) to give the learningcurve a boost.

However, photography is not my daily profession. I do have tried, but I found that photographing for customers moved me in a tight envelope and blocked my creativity. Besides that, Photographer for a living has become very hard nowadays. So I decided that photography will be, and stay an extraplusultra hobby for me.

I mostly work on location due the lack of an own studio, but I do studiowork in a rental studio close to my home. I love nice industrial/Urban locations as they add a great atmosphere to the photos. I have a mobile flash unit so I can go everywhere (even when there is no power outlet).
