The Nikon D5500 is an F-mount DSLR announced by Nikon on January 5, 2015. The successor of the D5300 (there having been no D5400) it is the first Nikon DSLR to feature a touchscreen.The Nikon D5500 features other improvements over its predecessor Nikon D5300.
