You can input your work rates for each work style you have selected on your profile, and your rates will display next to their respective work style on your profile.

Work rates can be a controversial topic within the industry. It is commonly accepted that people new to the industry should offer TFP/Time For Print until they are experienced enough, with a diverse and full portfolio, to start charging.
Because of this, we have certain limitations as to who can input and display rates.

You will not be able to insert your rates if:

• You're a newcomer
• You're a novice
• You only accept TFP work
• Your work rumeneration type is "Depends on the assignment"

To update/insert your work rates, go to "Your Control Panel" and click "Update Profile". On the right hand side where the work styles section is located, will be the work rates section.

All you have to do is type your rate in, and the system will correctly format and update it. No buttons, no forced formatting, simple!

If you've decided that you've done plenty of shoots, gained some experience, built a solid portfolio and now you're ready to start charging for your work then you need to decide your rates.

We advise that you contact other members and ask what they charge, and charged when they first started to charge, do your research and make sure you're not over charging or under charging.
