Hi, I would appreciate some feed back on my 'non modeling photographs'.
I will be taking them down once I have feedback.
I would like to hear your opinions before I apply for a part time photography job, I need to present some of my work.
All my 'Non modeling photographs' have been taken by me.
Thanks for your time & help.
Amber.

Hi Amber ,it would be nice to know what type of job you are applying for ,is it to be acting as an assistant or actually being employed as a photographer ? .Also what type of camera you shot these pics with.
I think with this information you may get a better response to your questions . Paul.

Hi Amber, don't knock yourself in your portfolio, you are gorgeous! You actually have the looks to be 'non mainstream' and quite unique, which I've found photographers really like. I came into modelling quite late on, but the one thing I have a pssion for is thinking outside the box and not doing the same as everyone else. Your non-modelling photos are lovely, and the best suggestion I can give is throw away any misconceptions of what you think photos should be, and go with your heart...I'm sure you'll be very successful and wish you all the best

I know Paul well, he did my 1st ever shoot and was fantastic, I can't give any technical advice, but rest assured Paul is an expert in this field!

All the best,

Enola x

While I understand a requirement to know what type of photography job the OP is going for when it comes to giving feedback on the images, I'm struggling to understand why you would need to know what type of camera the images were made with?

I really like the frosted rose and the dog-through-grass shot is making me wonder at the story (which is a good thing, I reckon)

Paul - I took most of these with my mobile (either LG Viewty or Samsung Galaxy Ace) I took the one of the dog on the beach with my Kodak DX6490 that I use for college...because my original camera got broken) Its a part time assistants job. Thank you for your comments

Enola Gay - Thank you, I am also starting out as a part time model before I decide which side of the camera I like to be & Thank you for your comments, I appreciate your opinion.

MattCain - Thank you, I also appreciate your comments.

Amber you asked for feedback on these pictures ,something I very rarely do as opinions differ greatly but seeing as there has not been responses here's my two pen'north worth.

I would crop the first shot to eliminate most of the house and it's brickwork as I think the bird is the centrepiece and the house is out of context .

I also like the frosted Rose shot ,the rest of them don't do anything for me at all sorry and I wouldn't include them to a prospective employer.
if these shots would have been taken with a Bridge or Slr camera they would be poor quality but as they were taken with a mobile they are ok mmaybe it's to do with the uploading etc and you could not have expected more from them ,do you have time to reshoot some others take a little time to get the subject more into your shots ,shooting more still life will make it easier to do this or get some close ups of your dog ( people love them ) . I look forward to seeing more from you and hope this is of some help to you .

Matt I hope the above answers why I asked which camera

Enola .I'm far from expert in this field but I do know a little about Huddersfield,Macclesfield and Chesterfield

Thank you Paul, your feedback is greatly appriciated.
Im always out and about with some sort of camera, so I have time to take more, and better shots. Sometimes it is difficult because of the its dark when I get home from college to go out to purposely get sone photo's. The majority are oppertunity taken.

Thanks all again for taking time to look and give feedback.

My 2 cents, Look up the rule of thirds and try to place something of interest on a third line or intersection. Join a local camera club, it will probably only cost you £30 per year or less if your a student. They often have a club camera you can borrow and you will learn alot from viewing other members work and from judges coments on others work.
