The app store, app world, web store.. everything seems to have some form of app download centre now, so, what are you favourite apps?

For me, on the blackberry:
DropBox - Allows you to access your DropBox files from anywhere
NetworkTrafficControl - I'm quite a heavy mobile internet user, so it allows me to keep track of exactly how much data I use a month because unfortunately "unlimited" isn't really unlimited
Wi-Fi Manager - This ones brilliant. When you're connected to a WiFi network, simply save the location, and whenever you go back to that location it will turn your WiFi back on. When you move out of the location, it turns off the WiFi to stop it hunting and draining your battery
PhotoBucket Mobile - After taking a photo it seamlessly uploads your photo to PhotoBucket in the background.

For Chrome:
Quick Note - A brilliant tool to keep notes, styled like a notepad. Stores them in "the cloud" also, so you can access them anywhere. I use the app to keep track of various stages of developments on the site.

Angry Birds - Ok, seriously, who hasn't played this by now?!

Cargo Bridge - Brilliant game, you'll lose a whole afternoon to this..

Anyone else got any favourites?

James

Hipstamatic and Instagram on the iPhone are excellent and you can get some really great results from them, even though the camera itself is pretty crappy. OldPhoto too is a great app and fun to play around with. Facebook is an essential though Facepad is much better as it is far easier to use than the official app. Games wise, Plants vs Zombies, Pocket God, and old favourites like Twistword and Bookworm are wonderful for long bus/train journies

Is it too embarrassing to confess to liking PhotoToaster on the iPhone/iPad? Great for making photos look more interesting. Otherwise I frequently use Hipstamatic and 360 for panoramic shots. And ProCamera when I need a self-timer (I've got a tripod for my iPhone)

Hipstamatic and Instagram on the iPhone

Is it weird that I would actually consider getting an iPhone purely for that/those apps? The closest thing we get on BlackBerry is "pixtrix" which isn't as great - but I think its because of the BlackBerrys limitations.

Not overly keen on the Facebook App, I prefer just using the mobile version of the site.. the Twitter app is a must though.

Oh and on the games note.. Bubble Burst and Copter - both addictive

Windows7 Phone htc HD7

DropBox / Flickr / xbox live / Ofice / integrated facebook - live updates - IM chat. and Skydive for pic's(much better than any app) / integrated Wi-Fi Manager / sady also ebay app....

just to mention a few lol

The iphone is so overrated!!! you all know Apple has a evil plan and will take over your bodys with their mind control app that you have not noticed hiding on your hand set!!

one day your be talking to someone and it will inject probes into your brain locking its self to the side of your head and you will become an Apple transmitter so they can contact the Death Star!!
and take over the univers!!!

Take care sleep well and dont hold your iphone to close to your head girls and boys lol

What would a mad cow modeling app do? Be a 'native' version of the forum? Or have any other features?

Perhaps integration with Address book?

I work in the games industry and at the moment I am working on a project that has been entirely created using an iPhone and it's apps, from the the images too the editing and layout. There are some awesome apps out there and my 16gig model is almost full now with photo and video apps

I would love to have a MadcowModels app and if I could programme I would do it myself and wouldn't mind paying for it either

I think mobile version of the site would be much better,

Very very few Website apps come close to being any good and lack so Much of the usability that you get on the web or mobile web versions.

I dont really see the point of an app that dose less than you can do on the site! when you can have the fully loaded mobile version only a finger tap away!

I must be the only person on the planet who is not into apps. Not really into technology full stop. My mobile is (don't laugh) Nokia C3 - because it's simple.
Not that I find anything technical complicated, I just don't find most of it necessary
