I have 2 lots of a certain set of shots I would like to include in my portfolio..some images the size is too large and some are not in a jpeg format. What can I do? :(

2 Options:

1) Download a free image editor like Gimp: www.gimp.org/ which will allow you to resize and convert images

2) If you intend to upload them here on MadcowModels, feel free to send them to us and we can convert/resize and send them back to you

Google Fotosizer it is free and the most simple to use resize software, it can do entire folders of images at once.

Take care when you re-size your images. Do not re-size the original - its safer to make a copy and work on that.

Dito, NEVER edit originals, you may need them later. Make copies and alter them. Gimps not bad (and free on net) for picture editing but tools need getting used to.

Picsa free found on Google is very handy ,Will deal with and convert all your raw files as well

I second that Picasa is a great free program and it has just updated new tools...all you need is a G-mail account which takes only a couple of minutes to set up

I have passed this on to half my family to stop them asking me to do them Freebie Photoshop editing.
not even sure you need a G-mail account at least I didn't need to have one when putting it on the relatives computers,
