I have sent offers of work to over 15 models in my area of Dorset and had two replys, most have not even read them. Why do they bother to join?

I sympathise with you Rich, I have sent so many offers of paid work out and yet the replies are minimal maybe around 25/30%. Surely if you are going to join a site and advertise yourself as looking for work the polite thing to do is reply to the offers. I thought times were hard and money tight, obviously not in this industry! I would like to add however that there are exceptions to everything and I have met some really lovely girls from this site, so thank goodness there are some genuine ones about.

I too sympathise , but also have to say that there are togs out there that approach you, ask for rates and are never heard from again as well.
It would be nice to have a reply saying no, those fees are not within my budget, asking if a compromise can be made or even just a plain and simple no thank you , sorry too expensive. In the current climate we all would like to work for the fees we ask for but as a business woman as well as a model i know that often isnt the case !
Can always throw a lemon drizzle cake in with my rates as i am told they are to die for.

All my work is based on TFCD shoots i do it as i love photography meeting new people ,it takes me alot of time to retouch images and edit what the model wants in the images i do for them .. when i ask models if thay would like a TFCD shoot i get NO pay work only alot of models don't even reply to me with sorry not interested or i get oh i only do TFP (TIME FOR PAYMENT) wish models would reply to a simple email ..

Models prefer dream about be a top model BUT it should happen like fingers "click" fast and easy.

some girls/boys booked me because they want to looking fab on facebook and it's FUN for them.
most of them spending half their life online-why? because it's FUN!

Do you really think she/he will answer to you?
answer is-no- because it too BORING

I contact models, and get some contacts from models. Some turn into shoots, because we both want the same thing, and the deal is right, and some do not.

Of those that do not, many just fizzle out in a lack of communications. I always take the view that someone who does not communicate easily will not be good to work with.

I look upon non-replies as ultimately saving me from wasting my time. I always reply to people, as I am from an age where it would be rude not to.

I guess it is easier to just "forget to" in this modern Interweb time.
