I have more work than what is already uploaded but unfortunately I have no access to this until my laptop (where the shots are stored) is fixed.
I'd really like to hear some peoples opinions on what I have uploaded currently, will be appreciated

You have some nice images. You have one or two images that are a little bright. They conflict with your blonde hair

Hi Emi,

You've got some great shots, particularly those with the sunflower headband on, which are my favourite. You've chosen well for your profile photo too, that's probably your best photo currently.

I also love the first one in the headshot category.

There are a few shots I think could be replaced when you get your laptop fixed/access to the rest of your portfolio, as I don't think they're as strong as the rest of your shots (a couple in the fashion category).

But in summary, great portfolio thus far and I look forward to seeing more.

James

Hi Emi you have some nice work on your port but i think a couple of them are slightly over exposed but in saying that they would probably suit the look converted to mono..you do need to replace some of them once your laptop is back in service im going to mark you as one of my faves so i can look at your port again keep up the good work and well done

The over exposed has been brought up before on another website, going to do some googling now to find out exactly what that means. Thankyou very much for your feedback !

What it generally means Emi its to bright to the point of loosing details in the actual shot..

One other thing too its also known as "being blown out" just another way of putting it.

Also known as 'burnt out'. I think that the photographer was overexposing ( and probably extending the overexposure in photoshop ) deliberately to accentuate certain features of the image - eyes, lips etc. It's probably fair to say that in one or two of the images he ( she ) took it too far. But he did it probably because those features stand out so much. Your eyes, the shape of your face and your mouth are wonderful features. You can do great things with your hair. And you are able to transform the way you 'act' your look depending on the style of the shot in a way that lifts you above mere 'model' into the realm of 'performer'. I am not in a position to offer it but I would love to shoot some 50s retro stuff with you, pin up style - jukeboxes, jive, billowing dresses with satin underskirts, coffee bars etc. Oh and I think your profile is very well crafted and written, makes you sound really interesting to work with

Firstly, thankyou everyone so far for your inputs. Very helpful!
I think I'm gaining a better understanding of the meaning here soo..yay

I really like your (jacklondon) idea very much! When I first started out I did a few pin-up style shoots and absolutely loved them. I'll have to upload some pictures.

Thankyou again everyone

Hi Emi ,I won't comment on your pictures except to say my favourite is the shot with the leopardskin coat . the main thing I like about your profile is the notes , very concise full of all the correct information many more experienced models would do well to use it as a guideline ,well done and good luck . It's good to hear that my profile notes are coming across in a good way! I never really know what to write and always get worried in case I'm rambling on soo..thankyou

Hi Emi, my favourites in your port are the bridal shot, one where you're wearing floral headband, and I like the one where you're sitting in a window wearing a black hat? I like that because you look really natural, and the lighting is good.
