Hi folks ,thought I would pass on some useful info for nikon shooters,I just bought a software download from oxfordeye photography solutions, that is £25.00
set it up on my dell laptop using windows XP and coupled my D90 with 10 metre USB lead and bingo it works great, have yet to try my D1 and D100.
sure beats paying over £100 for nikon software
regards
dave

Checked it out looks interesting! I normally have my D90 connected to my 19" HDTV which cost me £100 to buy - but that software backs up the images and gives you master control from PC/laptop - suppose the kids get my TV they've been bugging me for!

Have you experienced any issues with it yet?

Cool, that looks pretty good - definitely a cheap alternative to nikon Camera Control.

I've used the Nikon Tethering software for every shoot I've done, though I found it to be a bit slow at times - it would normally lag loading the pictures for about 10/15 seconds, does this have a similar lag or does it transfer the pictures quicker?

There are a few free alternatives, I tried out the DIYphotobits.com software a year or so ago ( www.diyphotobits.com/download-diyphotobitscom-camera-control/ their site is down at the moment though..) and that was pretty good for a free option. The user interface was very basic, but it got the job done.

How does that work? Are you using your big screen connected to the laptop, or are you using the tv screen as a large "live view" screen?
