As you say, studio photography is a massive learning curve.
Your natural light shots such as the child outside, the baby crying, and the baby outside, all look good - well lit, and well composed.
Your photos categorized under Gothic & fetish are also well lit, well composed and overall - they're pretty good photos.
Your white background studio shots seem to suffer from over-exposure. I don't know if you've tried to go for the "high-key" look?
You've started to nail getting good exposure on the first 2 photos in your gallery though 3 and 4 look like they're being lit by the background lights too - which is normally caused when you have the model too close to the background.
Further on in your port, you look like you've started to get to grips with good exposure.
You've got a good start to your portfolio and as you say, its a massive learning curve - and its all down to practice, practice practice.
I hope thats helped
