I've been into photography since childhood thanks to my photographer fathers love of printing B&W from negatives. I shot film for many years, 35mm & medium format but went digital in 2008. Having photographed all manor of things I've come to love people photography the most.

How much do I love photography? I do it for the passion of it as well as being paid for it. The heavy camera bag with 580EXII and bounce umbrella that's with me almost 24x7 says lots!

Kit? G11, 40D, 50D, lenses and a ton of lighting gear.

I have some strong views on who pays who in this industry when not working together TFCD. If you instigate something you should be the one that parts with any money, be you a model, photographer, fashion house or makeup artist. Castings like "Model looking for Photographer - Model requests payment" need rewording. If you want to build your portfolio you should do it at your expense until you have enough to show others that attracts paid work.
